On April 20, the 101st "China Needlework Association" kicked off a new chapter in Shanghai, writing a new chapter of glory. The gala dinner “China Needlework Association—Le Zhi Night,” along with the China Textile and Apparel Industry Awards Ceremony, brought together emerging forces and celebrated recent achievements. Distinguished guests attending the ceremony included Jiang Zengwei, former President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade; Li Jianhua, Executive President of the China National Textile and Apparel Council; Liang Renkan, Advisor; Lei Limin, Vice President and Secretary-General; Peng Guifu, Vice President; Han Yungang, Vice President; Yu YueNan, Vice President; Wang Yueping, former Party Secretary of Zhongshang Group; and Zhang Guoqiang, Deputy County Mayor of Suning County, Hebei Province.
In his speech, Li Jianhua stated, “With each step forward, we aim to go even further.” The 101st China International Textile Machinery Exhibition brings together high-quality brands from the industry, showcases emerging industry leaders, integrates online and offline channels, and deeply taps into the industry’s potential. It will present all exhibitors and visitors with a vibrant and prosperous trade event—a practical, efficient, and deeply connected platform for business exchanges. Having successfully navigated through a century of milestones, the China International Textile Machinery Exhibition is now brimming with vitality and dynamism, boldly facing the future and embracing a new era. At the 100th Anniversary Gala of the China Needle Association, the China Textile and Apparel Commercial Association solemnly launched the “Hall of Fame for China’s Textile and Apparel Industry,” honoring a total of 43 prominent figures from the textile and apparel sector as inaugural members of the Hall of Fame. In addition, the “Silk China Star-Rated Demonstration Stores” were also awarded at the meeting. As an important public service platform under the Ministry of Commerce’s Cocoon and Silk Initiative, “Silk China” is dedicated to “promoting silk culture and boosting silk consumption.” The evaluation of these star-rated demonstration stores aims to standardize business practices in the silk retail sector. After initial review by provincial silk associations and expert assessment by the China National Textile and Apparel Council, a total of 49 four-star demonstration stores and 10 three-star demonstration stores were ultimately selected.
