What are the differences in different techniques in clothing customization
With the development of the times, personalized customization has gradually become a new trend. A good piece of clothing requires high-quality embryo shirts, attractive patterns, and suitable customization techniques. The texture and touch presented by different processes are completely different.
Among the customer base of Woda Garment Factory, most of them choose four processes: digital direct printing, embroidery, screen printing, and offset hot stamping. Another part (mainly original brand clothing store owners) will choose reflective printing, imitation hot stamping printing, 3D thick plate printing, etc.
Every process has its own value, and each process has a unique way of presentation.
Digital Direct Spray
Imported digital direct printing technology, without the need for plate making, directly prints the patterns from the computer onto cotton fabric, achieving a WYSIWYG printing effect. Easy to operate, completely breaking through the color limitations of traditional screen printing. Digital printing can achieve printing of 16.7 million colors on the color spectrum, with rich colors! Can maximize the satisfaction of people’s personalized needs.
The use of high-quality water-based environmentally friendly dyes ensures that pigment molecules fully fuse with cotton fibers under high temperature and pressure, achieving a visible but intangible printing effect on printed patterns. It is the most cutting-edge personalized printing solution in China! The ink particles of digital printing are extremely fine, reaching the nanometer level, so they can easily penetrate into the fiber gaps of the fabric, with both fastness and no impact on the softness and comfort of the fabric itself.
Advantages: Rich printing colors, good hand feel, excellent performance on light colored clothes, no glue feeling.
Disadvantage: Due to the process of adding white ink for printing on dark clothes, the printing feel is not satisfactory.
Ke style hot stamping
As one of the most common customization techniques, hot stamping is currently the most commonly used method for small batch T-shirt customization businesses due to its simple operation, low cost, and fast start-up. The main printing steps are to print the pattern on transfer paper, and then use high temperature and pressure to print the pattern on the transfer paper on the clothing merchant
Advantages: The printing process is simple, not easily deformed or discolored, with high color reproduction. It can be used to create character images and complex color images, and is sturdy.
Disadvantages: Low breathability and a gelatinous feel.
screen printing
The hollowed out grids on the printed pattern are printed on the clothes. Only one color can be printed at a time. If you want to print a second color, you must wait for the previous color to dry before proceeding; We need to make a printed version.
Advantages: Clear patterns, soft layout, and small printing pressure. Resistant to sunlight and washing.
Disadvantage: Not suitable for representing patterns with rich colors, requiring the production of printing plates, and time-consuming customization.
Embroidery
Machine embroidery products have strong practicality, a wide variety of colors, varied needlework, novel patterns, and rich colors. Automatic embroidery machines have faster production speeds, such as the Japanese Tajima embroidery machine, which can store 30 different patterns and can enlarge, shrink, or change direction. With 100000 stitches for three-dimensional embroidery and six processes, the stitches are fine and soft, and the woven patterns are three-dimensional and glossy. It can also be supplemented with printing techniques to make customized patterns more diverse. It is not recommended to embroider extensively on summer clothing as it may reduce the wearing experience.
Advantages: Strong three-dimensional effect, textured texture, suitable for highlighting brand information
Disadvantages: The printing area should not be too large. In addition, due to the fact that embroidery machines generally operate in batches, the printing quantity is generally starting from 10 pieces.
