DP ironless shirt
DP is an emerging fabric widely used in various shirt fabrics. In terms of composition, the fabric of DP shirts is 100% pure cotton.
Although DP shirts are made of pure cotton fabric, after advanced special processing, they have greatly improved their ability to resist ironing and wrinkles. Not only can they achieve a level 4 wrinkle free effect, but they also increase the color brightness and saturation of the shirt.
Characteristics of DP ironless shirts
1. Excellent wrinkle resistance;
2. Full hand feel: Due to the addition of cotton fiber softening agents during the processing, the treated shirt has a fuller and softer hand feel;
3. Comfortable and breathable: After DP treatment, pure cotton high count shirts do not leave any resin on the fabric, leaving enough gaps between the yarns, still maintaining the excellent breathability unique to cotton fibers;
4. Good glossiness: DP non ironing is a special ironing machine used to perform non ironing and pressing treatment on finished garments. After pressing, the glossiness of the fabric surface is better than other ordinary pure cotton shirts;
5. Health and Environmental Protection: DP shirts are among the leading domestic and internationally advanced in terms of comprehensive performance in health and environmental protection. They are green products that are harmless to the human body, and their environmental protection parameters are significantly better than national standards.
The difference between VP and DP without ironing
1. VP nano shirts are mainly made of high count polyester cotton, while DP shirts are made of 100% pure cotton fabric.
2. VP nano shirts mainly have oil removal, stain removal, and certain waterproof functions. Although polyester cotton itself has a certain stiffness, it cannot achieve the effect of ironing free.
3. At present, there are two main types of cotton ironing free technology, namely fabric ironing free (SSP) and ready to wear ironing free. Ready to wear ironing free can also be divided into three types: resin soaking method (HP ready to wear treatment), VP vapor phase treatment method (VP ready to wear treatment), and DP ironing free treatment method (DP ready to wear treatment).
Classification of DP Ironless
(1) Cotton DP non ironing fabric
Like high count cotton poplin, it has a thin, soft, and smooth silk like style. The fabric has clear particles and a fine and smooth texture. It has good wearability and is not prone to wrinkling or shrinking. After undergoing dyeing, bleaching, and printing processes, it has different styles. Its excellent moisture absorption, breathability, and soft touch are deeply loved by consumers, making it suitable as a regular men’s iron free shirt. For example, Oxford spinning belongs to traditional combed cotton fabrics. There are many varieties of it, such as plain color, bleached color, warp and weft color, warp and weft color, etc. In addition to pure cotton fabric, there are also polyester cotton yarn fabrics. Oxford fabric’s softness, soft color, breathability, and comfort are high-end products that can be accepted by consumers.
(2) DP non ironing silk fabric
Silk fabrics such as satin and satin can be used to make shirts, and silk shirts have a particularly soft and smooth texture. The choice of shirt fabric should be based on the occasion, season, shirt type, and product grade.
(3) DP non ironing elastic fabric
Strictly controlling the shrinkage rate of the fabric, the finished garment has ideal water washing performance and can be easily retracted.
